Job Title: Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our talented team. As an SQA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with our development and product teams to identify and address issues, verify functionality, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to create comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, security, and compatibility.
2. Test Case Design: Develop and execute test cases and test scripts based on project requirements, user stories, and design documents.
3. Manual and Automated Testing: Perform manual testing as well as design and implement automated test scripts to streamline the testing process.
4. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues.
5. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce unexpected problems and that existing functionality remains intact.
6. Performance Testing: Plan and execute performance tests to assess system scalability and reliability under various conditions.
7. Security Testing: Conduct security assessments and tests to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the protection of sensitive data.
8. Documentation: Create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and technologies to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SQA Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for test automation is a plus.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
